PermaSiege is a pixel-art roguelite base defense game where players must protect their castle against relentless waves of enemies. Positioned at the far left of the battlefield, the castle must survive attacks coming from the right as players strategically build defenses, deploy units, and upgrade their base between waves. Each run challenges players to balance economy, defense building, and tactical decision-making. As waves grow stronger, players must improve their walls, towers, and troops while managing gold and resources to survive the siege. Inspired by strategy and defense games like Kingdom Two Crowns, PermaSiege combines side-scrolling exploration, wave-based combat, and roguelite progression to create a strategic and replayable gameplay experience.

Art & Visual Design

PermaSiege features a retro pixel-art visual style that creates a classic fantasy battlefield atmosphere. The environment includes castles, mountains, forests, and evolving landscapes that give the world a handcrafted indie aesthetic.

Enemy designs are inspired by mythical creatures such as cyclops, harpies, and other fantasy monsters, each with distinct visual characteristics and combat behavior.

The UI is designed to remain clear and functional during combat, allowing players to quickly build structures, upgrade towers, and manage resources while defending their base. The visual presentation focuses on readability, strategic clarity, and maintaining the charm of classic pixel-art games.
